our first gig went off great last monday at bar 4. we had the honor of playing after mike gamble’s trio which is always a must see on mondays in park slope. if any of you readers made it to the gig i would like to thank you profusely. the audience was great. on another note - did i mention that sam was referred to as a “prodigy” by the village voice? probably not. see if the papers are correct and check out our next show at the stain bar.
as the summer winds up we are ready to hit it this fall and start playing a few gigs and making some new music. Sam went to Europe, Heath recorded with his jazz quintet in CA, Scott is working a ton of blues gigs, and I just got back from Argentina with an even funnier looking guitar. you should all come and see it.

we just finished recording and mixing our demo. the tunes sound great and we are extremely thankful for everyone who helped us throw it together. a huge “thanks” goes out to Leo Sidran for recording us at Amber studios and Jeff Snyder for mixing the album at Columbia University.
now what? gigs… the summer may be a little hairy for the semifinalists. I (Dan) might go on another European tour with Cougar, Heath’s quintet secured a record deal and is being flown out to CA to record, and Sam was finally asked to be Justin Timberlake’s drummer. we’ll keep you posted.
